Kids Adventure Weekend
These Adventure Weekends run from Friday-Sunday 4 times per year, for up to 15 children that have disabilities. They are similar to our youth adventure programmes in the sense that we use the medium of outdoor adventure, to give the children the opportunity to experience adventure (at thier level) and increase their social, emotional, intellectual and physical development. Some activities may include group rafting in a sheltered bay, bush acitivties, map reading and orienteering, team activities and challenges and so on.
The activities are provided by Adventure Specialties Trust who have over 7 years experience with our clients and over 25 years experience in the outdoors. They will supply the qualified instructors, transport while at camp, equipment and food for the weekend. We will also provide support staff to match the needs of the participants.
